You don’t know a company until you try to get a return.

Ordered a number of polishes which were not as described or as shown on the website. The customer service could not be worse, they are plain stupid. They think the problem with the colours is to do with a, the amount of coats or b, there is a fault on the batch. When actually this is neither, it’s that they are Jelly colours but this has been failed to be added in on the description of the colours.

Upon raising this I’ve had around 6 emails trying to avoid my return and refund. They have given absolutely shocking customer service and after ten years of custom I’ll never be using them again.

I’ve had to state the distance selling act to try to resolve this.

The delivery was also shocking, using DHL has mirrored their lack of service.

Disappointed
Disappointed. Ordered a chemical peel course but they refused to sell the kit needed until I had passed the course. I cant pass the course without the kit!!

They then wanted me to prove my qualification then told me I wasnt qualified before getting an answer from me. For some reason they assumed I didnt have a Level 2 qual. I do. And a Level 3.

I had started a new business just…
I had started a new business just before Lockdown in beauty, doing nails ect and was buying things from Ellison’s for myself and to top up my kit.
They did not send my things on my second order and they blocked my account after my first order went through no problems. Questioned my qualifications and now I’m waiting on a refund. Never had issues anywhere else

Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service! Still waiting for my order to arrive, 5 days after placing the order. Trying to get a refund is like trying to split the atom! Ellisons do not care about their customers at all and spend far too much time blame shifting rather than fixing things!

Very disappointing company
Ordered a theatrical kit for my daughter's college course. 3 weeks later and still no closer to arriving, phoned to chase up order 2 weeks after order to be rudely told that they have 14 working days to complete the order. It's gone 14 working days and the order still hasn't been processed. You'd think that being authorised by colleges to supply kits for kids education you'd want to prioritise these kind of orders but clearly not. Once I know what the items are (they won't tell you so you can't get them yourself) I'll order off eBay next time. This isn't the type of business that deserves custom. Very disappointing.

Poor sales process & customer service!
I ordered a set oh hair straighteners for my upcoming wife’s birthday on their web site. I was asked if I was and individual or business which I replied individual and continued to payment. I received an email the following day asking me to prove I was in the hairdressing trade with certification. When I phoned the member of staff was unhelpful and wouldn’t ship the product. I asked for a refund and also for them to update their website sales process. Bad company, bad customer service.

First time ordering off this company on…
First time ordering off this company on Thursday for a Friday delivery, order came, messed up called straight away to shocking customer service told to email sales

Replacement item sent but didn’t receive to Monday as they couldn’t do next day despite there error
Offered 15% off next order
Tried to do this yesterday to be told ‘we need to call you with code’ they called at 17.10 I missed called by minutes returned call and they were already shut when they tried to call me

So ordered what I needed before 6 to get today without discount
Guess what no order coming today

Diabolical company and won’t be using again

Only used due to there next day delivery

Stay clear

Great communication and support with problematic delivery.
Bumpy start to the order being delivered, but fully resolved with excellent communication and support. Thank you.

Placed an order with Ellisons and was advised the delivery would be next day. The next day came and went and no delivery. Chased this up to be advised it would actually be 3 days and that I would receive a call 1hr in advance of the attempted delivery.

Received a phone call from JBT Distribution and told he was at the delivery address. Not a major issue as I only live 3 minutes from the delivery address.

Met the driver at the address only to be told he would be delivering the item in the middle of the road. Not even on the pavement and certainly not through the front door which is directly on the pavement.

The item was not only bulky, it weighed 100KG.

Was not advised by Ellisons that I would need someone to assist me from my side with the delivery. The driver had an appalling attitude to say the least.

Whilst we are in the middle of the Covid pandemic, it would not have taken a moment to advise me that the item would be delivered to the middle of the road and not even on the pavement and that I would need to arrange to have somebody with me to receive the delivery. Due to the current pandemic, there are very few people around. Not only this, I'm not sure me organising someone to meet with me for a delivery is Covid compliant?

Fully resolved and happy with the support.

Terrible service
Terrible service, took money straight away, 10 days later can’t supply, now up to 10 to get refund. Only tried them out by chance, absolutely useless, went to my local salon supplies got the item instantly and cheaper too!

Absolute joke. Ordered over 6 weeks ago. Still waiting.
My friend ordered in September and still waiting she requested a refund and they saying they can’t apparently.
Awful company.
Don’t know why my college picked such a terrible supplier

I have never had such poor customer…
I have never had such poor customer service before using this company. We ordered a beauty kit for my daughter from this company on the 8th September with a planned deliver date of a maximum 14 days.
After 20 days I contacted the company who told me that the product would be now be delivered with the next 2 weeks. This was 3 weeks ago nobody as contacted me to update the planned delivery arrangements and have no idea of when the product will be delivered.
We will never again order from this company again.

Absolutely horrrendous experience
Absolutely horrrendous experience - bought an LED mask for £1,400 which started falling apart 2 weeks after it got delivered.
The mask is being sold on the false premises that it’s guarantee covered for 2 years - well, this is an appalling lie, they pretty much accused me of lying and said that I damaged it myself (which is categorically not true).
All I can say is that the way you treat your customer determines the longevity of your business, so good luck with that - I shall not only never use this shambles of a retailer again, but warn anyone considering using them to take their custom elsewhere.
